Well, in the Grand Tetons National Park, we saw firsthand how the sequestration cuts affect the parks. Several areas in the Tetons and some informational displays were closed due to lack of staff. All the remaining staff were practically begging for donations.

We'd love to feel our 2013 "car trek" is having some benefit for the amazing national treasures we are seeing. And you'll feel good too, when you visit... Cape Cod National Sea Shore, Acadia, or other parks farther afield!
